This is sooo beautiful, I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone talk about throwing ass in such a poetic manner. I don’t have much to shake, esp here in the southern US, but I still shake it anyway!!! It’s so healing!
I lived in London for about 2 years and there was this lovely mostly Black club my friends and I would go to in the basement of the Ace Hotel (which sadly closed? I think in 2020). Anyway, it really sucks because it was (what I’m coming to understand now) a microcosm of Black expression because everyone up in there was dancing. I mean actuslly dancing... sweating.... gyrating...
My first night out in London was there and my last night out in London was also there before I moved back to Toronto.
RIP Ace Hotel 😪
Also the bouncers were super hot and the restaurant upstairs had great burgers
This was in Shoreditch, but I’m not sure what’s going on there now. The was also a place in Shoreditch called Circus (I think) which I liked a lot. The music was usually good and they had good drink deals too. There were usually a lot of Blacks there as well 😂

You gotta throw that thang simply for being alive!
A motto, a mission, and an affirmation.
